EDU takes on Witness45’s “Weekend”

Russian producer Witness45 is at an interesting stage in his career: he's modestly appeared on many of the biggest dance radio shows, including Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance, Above & Beyond's Group Therapy and Aly & Fila's Future Sound of Egypt. But because he's a small name, it's totally possible that you've missed him though his sound is impressive. This week he's released an EP entitled Weekend, with a lighthearted, sturdy chord progression and bass for an original mix. Stepping in to take "Weekend" up a notch in intensity is EDU, a more seasoned producer in the trance game. Bringing in punchiness to the chords and a rumbling acidic bassline, it's no wonder the remix is quickly climbing the Beatport charts.
