Four years after Maniac Meat, we’re finally closing in on the last couple of weeks before the release of the third Tobacco album. Black Moth Super Rainbow frontman Tom Fec’s signature mind-altering, scuzzy production carries over to his solo project in all the best ways. He’s been releasing singles from the new album since it was announced back in March.
The latest single “Father Sister Berserker” is mostly instrumental and loaded with swaggering beats and pulsating synthesizers that sound like they've been processed through a garbage disposal. Normally a garbage disposal comparison would be an insult, but the new album Ultima II Massage is shaping up to be as heavy and heady as we hoped for.
"Father Sister Berseker" as well as the two previously announced singles "Eruption (Gonna Get My Hair Cut At The End Of The Summer" and "Streaker" are available now from the Ghostly store. The full album will be released on May 13th via Ghostly.
