World's Fair show unparalleled flavor with "N.A.A.S."

World's Fair, the collective hailing from Queens and representing Fool's Gold, have kept a low profile since releasing their debut album last year, Bastards Of The Party. Their wild antics, high energy, impressive synergy, and hilariously complex rhymes were captured expertly on their first go round, which made the group and its members intriguing. While we have been anxious to hear new music from the camp, they have been touring around the country and pushing their brand forward. However, fans' dreams of new tracks have become reality, as the boys have just leaked a new single.

"N.A.A.S," their new song, is an acronym for "N*ggas Ain't About Shit", which so happens to be a reoccurring theme throughout its four minute run-time. Prince SAMO, Nasty Nigel, and Remy Banks step behind the microphone on this one, each adding their own flair to the topic. While all three emcees have great verses and carry their part really well, Nigel's verse was the standout; he managed to find a way to both paint an accurate picture of grinding (long walks from the train), as he simultaneously brags about his own success (court seats at the game). There is an interesting blend of humility and egotistical hell raising that somehow finds pride in both the highs and lows of life, and makes it fun. This is especially true when Black Noise provides house type production to bop your head to.

Does this mean that World's Fair is back in the studio? Maybe, we can hope so, but there aren't any guarantees. However, that gives you plenty of time to catch up on their earlier material, which can be found on their Soundcloud or Bandcamp. "N.A.A.S." is a worthy return to form for the guys, and we're sure they will be back in no time.
