There is a strange infectious quality to Young Thug's vocals that boggles the mind and will probably remain a mystery for all eternity. His drunken master style slurring, which gets filtered through an uncomfortable amount auto-tune or hits so many high register notes that they turn into a pure screech, somehow fits every beat like a snug glove. Each line, while incredibly tough decipher, showcase his cleverness or his odd goofball personality so effectively that they become endearing. As soon as listeners hear "Thugga" on a track, they know what to expect: to once again be left in a state of confusion, but totally mystified by his sheer creativity and unexpected flow.

"OMG" may be one of the weirder performances from Thug, but definitely displays his willingness to experiment and grow. Featuring production from frequent collaborator C4 and HBK's P-Lo, it has a heavy Bay Area sound to it, presumably thanks to the latter beatsmith. The hyphy synthesizers and quick claps immediately standout as different, but then Thug comes on the track. Utilizing an usual tenor flow, he sounds like a normal rapper impersonating himself. However, it works with great with the instrumental as he falls right between each beat. IAMSU! joins the party for one verse and offers a solid verse, although it would be impossible for him to be as memorable as Thug. There really isn't anything or anyone who sounds like him right now.
Even though you won't be able to fully understand what he saying, give "OMG" a listen. Young Thug's hook will get stuck in your head, there really isn't any escaping it. IAMSU provides a great assist, but he was totally overshadowed. Thug is a force of nature, he can't be explained.
