TCTS rebuilds Wilkinson's "Half Light" [Premiere]

Last October UK DnB producer Wilkinson put out his debut 13-track album, Lazers Not Included, a work that furthered a continuously evolving career that started when he first laid his hands on a drum kit at age nine. The release spanned slow-paced, bass-laden collaborations and innovative, ethereal solos, including "Too Close" with Detour City and "Afterglow". Another major hit, "Half Light", featured Tom Cane's pop vocals and comes as the next single from the album, out June 2nd on RAM/Virgin EMI and available for pre-order now.

As a prelude to the single release and Wilkinson's forthcoming Lazers Not Included 2.0, TCTS, a British producer of a different vein, completely transforms the track. Stripped of its DnB roots, "Half Light" dips into a house reverie complete with warm, descending chords and rounded xylophone-like highs.  Tom Cane's vocals still make a strong appearance, though slightly distorted as if through early morning recollections of the night before.

Lazers Not Included 2.0 will be available August 18th and will feature some exclusive new material from the DnB wunderkind, Wilkinson.
