Kill Paris prepares for CounterPoint with 'Foreplay' EP [Premiere]

This weekend Georgia prepares to host the 2nd annual CounterPoint Music Festival.  With great food, camping, and of course a great variety of musical acts, the festival hopes to bring the Coachella-esque experience to the the rural countryside of northern GA.

Among the top-tier talent scheduled to perform is DJ/producer Kill Paris.  While the Boulder, CO native might have gotten his start producing melodic, intricate dubstep bangers, his catalog has expanded over the years to include some fantastic electro-house, glitch, and just general make-you-dance funky beats.

Now, to coincide with his CounterPoint performance this weekend, Kill Paris is set to drop his four-track EP ForePlay on us, and EARMILK has an exclusive track for you! "Float" is the first track from the stellar EP.  With a gorgeous soft synth intro and big meaty basslines punctuated by nice piano chords throughout, the dubstep track really delievers on every level.  I hate to call it the standout track of the EP (because every track on the EP is excellent), but just give it a listen and you'll see what I mean.

Currently signed to Skrillex's OWSLA label (with the likes of Seven Lions, Rusko, and Kill the Noise), Kill Paris is poised for big things this year. You can grab the ForePlay EP next Tuesday, and make sure you check out Kill Paris this weekend if you're at CounterPoint.
