When we premiered "(en) Terre", the collaborative effort from the little known Jasper Sommer & Tsunaina, back in February, the EARMILK community went crazy. The hauntingly delicate vocals from the singer/songwriter Tusnaina glided over the calm, yet somewhat pumping beat created by Sommer, creating truly mesmerizing piece of music.
This week, we've been treated to the latest track from the London beatsmith, as Jasper Sommer releases his latest song "Lipsodent Drew". As the title and artwork suggests, Justin Bieber has been sampled, with a pitched down vocal sample from his hit track "Confident" which also features Chance The Rapper. The eerie vocal sample is laid upon a bass-rich and snappy beat, that really sends those kinda waves through your body that make you want to get up and move. Once the track really drops, you're met with a flurry of deep kicks and pulsating synths, that lean towards a more experimental sound, something akin to the likes of Four Tet et al.
You can stream "Lipsodent Drew" below, and be sure to keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for the latest from Sommer and the rest of the PUSHCRAYONS collective!
