Dillon Francis caps off Coachella with Daft Punk remix freebie

After capping off another two weekends in his second straight year at Coachella, Dillon Francis is showing off a spectacular coming of age as a young producer. His sets, especially those at landmark festivals, have shown a desire to break away from the trap anthems of the week, and move towards a collection of new music and classics from every genre world. His two recent collaborations, "Get Low" with DJ Snake and "Without You" featuring TEED both show that he's not afraid to try out a new sound that steps outside his regular comfort zone. That still doesn't mean he's left his role as dance music's class clown, with troll-worthy moments like playing out a remix of a sampled Cousin Terio or ending his Triple J mix with Spice Girls' "2 Become 1".

With a massive set at Ultra Music Festival and strong showings at both editions within the Sahara Tent, Dillon took to a free release to show his gratitude, remixing the iconic Daft Punk record "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". The track keeps the original quick pace of the robot duo, only to drop into a chopped up, bass-heavy section. Solid production from Dillon on this one, and it's a nice preview to his upcoming album release, supposedly set to drop later this spring.
