Singer/songwriters are more common than stars in the sky, so to set yourself apart from the rest you need that extra something special. Whether it be a certain sound that hasn't been done before, or that outstanding voice that makes peoples ears stand up, you've definitely got to have something in your locker to make you stand out.

Straight out of the UK, Joel Baker is one of the latest exports to make his own tidal sized wave in recent times. Possessing one of the most unique voices I've heard in a while, the young singer/songwriter has already began his rise to stardom. This week, he released the seaside themed visuals to his latest single "Every Vessel, Every Vein", in a video that seems him lost in his own thoughts walking down a wind-swept beach. This sets as a perfect environment for the track itself to blossom, with it's catchy chorus, and plucky chord progressions at the heart of this tale of finding love and trying to hold onto it.

You can peep the visuals for "Every Vessel, Every Vein", and the single is available to download on iTunes as part of his Every Vessel, Every Vein EP.
