It seems that production duo Hard Rock Sofa and fellow Russian DJ Skidka are really warming up to one another. Previously working on anthemic tracks together like "Let Me Hear You Scream," the guys seem to have gone through a transformation in the message they want to put out in their next single. Moving from one former Swedish House Mafia member's label to another, they've come out extra strong with their release on Axtone today. Originally premiered on Zane Lowe, Danny Howard and Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 institutions, the track spans generations with its sound, perfect for radio and the beaches of Ibiza where Axwell originally IDed the track last summer. Moving from a "let me see you jump," or "scream" instruction to the crowd, "Arms Around Me" takes a more fun approach led by a groovy sample from the disco and funk icons KC & The Sunshine Band. It seems going back to the basics is what's so great about this track: we don't need to be told what to do here, it's so good that we know innately to just let loose and dance.
