City of angels natives SoundFauna and Panda-Wolf team-up on this chilled out, Game of Thrones-themed collaboration. A mix between "acoustic hip hop" and what I would call an indie-bass sound, "Ten of Swords" is the kind of song that you can't help but sit back and unwind to. A slow hip hop beat and yearning vocals on top of some fantastic synths meet with subtle guitar touches to makes this one of my favorite laid-back tracks of the month. SoundFauna and Panda-Wolf are pretty different in style; one of the guys has shown incredible talent through dreamy experimental beat-making while the other has showcased it through stunning lyricism, vocals, and acoustic guitar melodies, but the combination of their two styles is nothing short of pacifying perfection.
