London residing Codec has been around long enough to see the initial waves of dance music popularization spread across the globe, and they’ve been keeping it real and original throughout. The young artists have been part of Britain’s bass and garage scenes for years, and they’ve been laying down great tracks since their start in 2008.  Since then, they’re horizons have shifted from classic techno to bass heavy deep house grooves and have truly showed their versatility as musicians in doing so.

WRHS Music has been kind enough to bless EARMILK with a premiere to one of Codec’s new mixes in promotion of their new release “Feel”, which will be out in late April. This hour-long collection of dance tunes features all kinds of bass heavy music and it’s a party from start to finish. The new release itself shows about 43 minutes into the mix and rightfully assumes its position as the icing on the cake. With vocals sweet enough to hum along to and bass deep enough to shake the floorboards above me, “Feel” is deep house in its truest sense.

We are very excited to have Codec’s new single out this month. You can catch the duo at Club Chemistry in Canterbury on Thursday the 17th.
