London native ItsNate dropped arguably the UK's strongest hip hop release last year, with his So Slocal mixtape, a project which showed the progression the emcee has made over the past few years. The Slocal movement has been gathering up pace as of late, and with friend and fellow spitter CR Blacks releasing two dope tracks recently, it was about time we heard some new material from Nate himself.
Released via upcoming UK label Trapdoor Records, "Got You Like" sees Nate again call upon Slocal affiliate and talented producer SELVSSE, who provides a relaxed, yet bumpin' beat to accompany the North London rapper. With some rather chilling melodies, and a really haunting pitched down vocal sample, SELVSSE lays down some kickin' drums that swerve between the shuffling of trap music, yet the regimented style of straight hip hop. Nate uses the beat to the best of his advantage, and his flow really rides the instrumental excellently, providing us with an engrossing listen, as he shows why he's been heralded as one of the hottest talents in UK rap music.

The Slocal movement is heading out to Berlin, Germany this weekend at St Georg, where you will be able to catch the likes of Nate, JD Reid, Motive and Faith performing. As a teaser in the build up to this event, Faith has dropped his Slocal Mix 002, which features some real nice vibes from the likes of Kaytranada, Tokimonsta and Mr Dibiase.
