Murkage take on the villainous "Officer Parker", in new 80's themed video

When Radio 1's Daniel P Carter premiered the latest single from Manchester based Murkage, the punk-like energy that was given off by the group was heralded as a breath of fresh air amongst a UK scene that has been floundering for a while now. Mixing the rawness of punk rock delivery, with the trapped up beat co-produced by Acropolis Sound, "Officer Parker" was the perfect second single for the group, following on from the Bipolar Sunshine assisted "La Plage" late last year.

A month has passed since "Officer Parker" was premiered on Radio 1, and this week we've been treated to the amazing visuals to accompany the song. Directed by band member and visionary Gaika Tavares, the video see's the group embark on an 80's movie-themed adventure, as they hunt down the monstrous Officer Parker, who is flanked by his two henchmen. With the inclusion of dodgy haircuts, golden guns and even a few ninjas (as well as a couple of hot girls thrown in for good measure), it's quite clear that Gaika has managed to pull off the old school movie theme incredibly well, and as for Mr Parker, well you'll have to watch the video to find out his fate.

You can peep the dope visuals for "Officer Parker" below, and if you're liking what you're hearing you can download both the original and the Star One remix (which features a band of talented emcee's in Manga (Roll Deep), Fallacy & Bugzy Malone), for FREE by hitting up this link. Their debut album Of Mystics & Misfits is out very soon, so keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK!
