Slander is composed of Derek Andersen and Scott Land, two Los Angeles producers that have invested themselves deeply in the trap movement and who remain fairly active on Soundcloud. With astonishing amounts of plays on most of their material, this duo has created a significant stir on the blogosphere.
Slander's remix is aggressive and energetic all at once. The roaring synths and progressive builds lead right into Ozcan's original lyrics where the main structure is tweaked with 808 kicks and a heavy underlying tone. The next cue to grab your attention is the hardcore skidding beat, which makes Slander's remix strikingly darker from Ummet Ozcan's track.
