It may not be Wu-Tang's upcoming multi-million dollar album, but Dirtybird's Worthy has just dropped more deep house goodness on us with his latest ODB remix. Worthy lets us know he likes it raw with this flip of "Shimmy Shimmy Ya," which incorporates a perfect employment of grooving basslines mingled with catchy sliced-up vocals of the original. This track has the beats of a bonafide booty shaker, and with the ever-present Wu-Tang undertones you know this one is destined to be a club rattler. "I think since Wu Tang recently came out with new material, the energy was out there and the Shaolin came down and blessed me creatively," Worthy remarks. "The track is the perfect blend of bass and suspense that I love in my songs."
Check out the head-bobber below, and as always, Worthy is offering this one up for a free download. Also, be sure to look out for Worthy's April 21st EP release off OWSLA.
