Dun Deal enlists help from Trap upstarts Young Thug & Zuse on "Treasure"

If you've ever been to a club, you probably know Dun Deal. He's the architect behind anthems like Migos' "Hannah Montana," Rome Fortune's "Get the Guap," and, perhaps most impressively, Young Thug's "Stoner." He is one of Atlanta's premier Trap producers, and his resume builds with every single beat he constructs. Dun Deal is prepping his own compilation called Beneath A Silver Sky, or B.A.S.S. for short, and he is enlisting help from Trap's most promising stars. The first release from this project is "Treasure," which features two of the subgenre's hottest stars: frequent collaborator, Young Thug, and recently emerging talent, Zuse.

"Treasure" feels like a very appropriate name for this record because it is quite the gem. Dun Deal links with his production team, The Remedy, to create a raucous beat with a bass that'll blow out your stereo system. Young Thug raps at a relentless pace, pushing his own pitch to the very brink in the process, and it is enthralling. It's like a train nearly coming off the tracks, but he never gets fully derailed. It's controlled chaos. Zuse, in contrast, slows the pace to a near standstill, riding the beat expertly as his patois-laced rhymes tumble syllable after syllable one after the other directly into your earhole. It's nearly impossible to miss a single word, even with the weight of his heavy accent. The styles exist in opposite worlds but in the same sound space and part of Dun Deal's genius is that each artist feels right at home. This is sure to be creep into DJ setlists sooner than later. It's bound to create a club atmosphere in your home, in your car, at your job, or wherever you may be. Listen responsibly.

Check out Dun Deal's "Treasure," which features Young Thug and Zuse (with co-production from The Remedy), and keep his compilation, B.A.S.S. on your radar.
