Visit Rambo V's newest dimension in his remix of Outkast's "Roses" [Download + Premiere]

My hometown: San Diego. A place of wonder, tattoos, and beaches, our hippy nature generates some pretty "swell" vibes. Okay I will cut the crap, but I must say it's very rare that an artist out of San Diego musters up the energy to release something.

Rambo V has blessed San Diego again with another musical piece of art. We last visited with the young producer in his remake of Marlena Shaw's "California Soul," a track that still finds its way into my weekly playlists. From start to finish – Rambo V has reworked Outkast's hit, "Roses," into another dimension. Touching elements of soul, funk, house, and hip hop – this song is influenced by a plethora of genres. "Roses" is one of my favorite songs- ever- and I was rather hesitant when Rambo contacted me with the title, as I've never dreamed of a remix worthy of it. However, the track differs in energy from the original and almost comes off as an entirely different vocal arrangement.

Rambo V was courteous enough to offer this rework up for free download, so thank him by heading over to his Soundcloud and clicking through a bit.
