The Chainsmokers remix of Adventure Club's "Wonder" has completely retouched the original in a creative way. Adventure Club's original track showed a softer side of this duo, as they teamed up with Australian singer and producer, The Kite String Tangle. "Wonder" was first featured on Calling All Heroes Pt. 1, an EP devoted to exploring new avenues and sounds from a versatile pair. Now, The Chainsmokers (who seem to be relatively close friends with Leighton and Christian if you read the description of the track) have taken on the gently structured track and completely revised "Wonder."
From the very start of the track, a picked up tempo instantly hits you with the new melody. The Chainsmokers leave Danny Harley's vocals completely intact, but still manage to layer the lyrics into the remix to help build the overall tone. This was one of the most surprising features of the remix, since the original lyrics are what made "Wonder" such a toned down tune. The real sparks are not completely ignited until The Chainsmokers release a euphoric progressive structure that seems to shadow their previous work.
The track will be avaliable on Vinyl for April 19th (National Records Day) and on iTunes for April 29th. The vinyl will include a few other exclusive remixes, most likely Luke Shay's remix of "Wonder," who won Adventure Club's Beatport remix contest.
