Ever since their debut EP release of 0613EP, DAVIDS, the new wave, synth-soaked group based out of Toronto, have witnessed quite the reception. By returning to their notable track "Iranians", DAVIDS have reminded us of their ear-catching, breakbeat electronic blend by dropping a fresh official video to accompany the tune.
"Iranians", which we featured back in November of last year, has haunted us ever since it's original June 2013 drop via Nile River Records. Now, the song's capacity has ventured into visual territory.
The music video, directed by Karl DiPelino and David Dunham and produced by DIVORCE, envisions the 80s inspired wall of sound heard on the track, featuring the memorable vocals of Mitch Bowden.
The darkened, club-like depiction frames dancing bodies, while the coloured illumination caresses each movement made. The dark pop is accentuated by this moody aesthetic, bringing to life the blown out bass synth that endlessly drives the track forward.
