18 year old vocalist Caitlyn Scarlett has already had quite a good start to her musical adventure. The UK native started out doing backing vocals for talented London based rapper Little Simz, but now, as 2014 rapidly advances, it's her time to step into the spotlight.

Today, EARMILK can exclusively bring you the first single from her upcoming EP Jurassic Juke Box and Other Drugs, "Bad Love" which has those perfect spring time vibes as the sun starts to peek through. The Ayo Beatz produced instrumental draws together a whole host of influences, from the pulsating bass lines of EDM, to the more pop-like drum beats of the verses. This beat compliments Caitlyn's style perfectly, allowing her beautifully sung words to ring through, with one of the most promising voices in the UK at the moment. With the fantastic sounding vocal style she has, Caitlyn stands out amongst the over saturated teen vocalist market at the moment, whilst the beat she sings over definitely sets her out from the rest of the pack, with no-one really imitating the same sound.

You can stream "Bad Love" below, and be sure to look out for Caitlyn's debut EP Jurassic Juke Box and Other Drugs, which is set to be released in April.
