J2K's vibrant energy and positive vibes were what immediately drew me to the UK up-and-comer. With a flow so slick it could cut through glass, the young artist has had quite the 2013 with no intentions of slowing down this year.
This time around, he's brought us a poppier endeavor that collaborates JME and Nicole Jackson. Jackson's vocal work, as well as the electronic based-instrumental both help ease the listener into the rhymes of J2K and JME. It's fast, in your face, yet strong and easy to digest.
This track is guaranteed to please both listeners of the weird and those who are more content with radio selections. While it's hard to gauge US attitude toward UK rap, I can at least say that this track will see love overseas.
