Benbrick is a composer/producer as well as an artist, and he's only interested in getting his music in front of as many people as possible. Today he drops "Forever Holding On" a mixture of sounds similar to that of The Weeknd, The Postal Service, and Childish Gambino's sensual side. The single marks the first, self-produced release from his upcoming EP Closer | Closure. According to Benbrick, "It's mixed by the guy behind Faithless, and mastered by the guy behind James Blake," which is a phrase you can't hide from. Benbrick wrote a song for a movie in Japan that became a number 1, and it was eventually used in one of the biggest Japanese movie releases of 2012. To highlight his talent, he made his own version for YouTube (piano) that now has 360k views.
"Forever Holding On" is on iTunes, as the young UK native is ambitious and in search of things larger than likes. His debut EP Closer | Closure will be released on iTunes on May 12th and is shockingly available from his website now via an immediate digital download. Talk about embracing the internet!
Listen to "Forever Holding On" now and however easy it may be to snag a free download, show him some support as an artist and spare a buck for the track.
