!llmind reunites Brooklyn's finest with "Picasso Biggie"

March 9th marks the 16th anniversary of Biggie’s death but The Notorious B.I.G’s legacy continues and his appeal remains unparalleled in today’s hip hop landscape. He conquered the rap jungle in the 90’s and in 2014 would no doubt approve of his introduction to Jay Z’s “Picasso Baby”. Brooklyn’s finest have been brought together by !llmind to turn one of Jay’s masterpieces into “Picasso Biggie”. !llmind's slowing down of Timbaland’s original beat to suit Biggie’s vintage verses from “Sky’s The Limit” adds another string to his bow of massive artists he’s worked with. The Filipino producer wouldn’t disagree that this could be his most high profile mix to date, with his showcasing of three of hip hop’s cornerstones flowing like its fresh from a studio session yesterday. While he spits “your brain was a terrible thing to waste”, rest assured that Christopher Wallace’s exquisite mind will live forever through the innovation of today’s most promising producers.

@illmindPRODUCER It's the 17th anniversary. Not the 16th.
