Capitalizing on the adept melodic work from DJ/producers Martin Garrix and Firebeatz's "Helicopter" on Spinnin' Records, the young and rising talent Vonzie is keeping up his hot production schedule by offering up his own take on the record. Chopping up the original into a groovy trap beat, Vonzie throws the familiar "face down, ass up" vocals on top of it, acting as a perfect complement to the edit's festival-energy level builds and drops. The dirtiest surprise comes with the second drop, which will no doubt be a dance floor shaker.
Vonzie has been rapid and consistent with breakthrough releases, and he won't be slowing down after this "Helicopter" flip. He has collabs in the works with talents all over the world, including Jacuzzi, Choppa Dunks, Krane, Tanner Caldwell, and Sebastian Carter. Vonzie insists on his direction looking forward:
"Some of these things are obviously all over the place stylistically… I'm not trying to stay with making festival, or twerk, or any one genre. To me, that's boring and detrimental to growing as an artist."
