Those that frequent Earmilk know that we're big fans of the good people and what they're doing over at Boiler Room. Recently the crew put together a show that included a set from rising L.A. beat chef MNDSGN, and quite frankly – he demolished it. But, unless you've never seen or heard the man at work, what else would you expect?
Coming out of New Jersey, the L.A. transplant quickly made a name for himself as one of the most promising beat conductors in the sprawling city's ever-growing community of underground producers. MNDSGN released the heralded breatharian via the FRSH SLCTS label last holiday season. The 19 track LP contained re-freaks of classics like Snoop and Pharrells' "Let's get Blown" and even Toro Y Moi's "How I know" among a slew of other obscured samples.
While this isn't his first Boiler Room set (and surely not his last). This does mark one of his first sets of the year and hopefully a better look at what's to come.
