Sebastian Carter has done it again with another smooth, house re-work. This time around, his calming touch meets the tune of "Ceilings" by the LA-based group, Local Natives. Carter is a 19-year-old producer from Switzerland with a refreshingly simple taste that extends well beyond his years. Quite a change from the original indie rock track filled with layered hopefulness, his remix seems to go in the opposite direction, presenting us with long-held airy synths and a dance-prompting beat in the midst of a dissonant ambience. All of Carter's productions have an undeniable chill-out vibe about them, and the indie-rock, electronic house, and deep house streak he's got going on his production resume seems to be working very well for him. If you're a fan of his style, make sure to check out his latest remixes of Emily Underhill's "Ghosts," Felon's "Isla," and the Valentine's Day mix he did for a Brightside Exclusive.
