Living in a world where media can be shared across continents and seas with little more than a button click, it's no surprise that Melbourne house has gained a strong foothold here in the States. Of course this also must be attributed to American artists who have furthered the catchy sound, with pros like TJR and Tommie Sunshine at the forefront. In fact, Tommie Sunshine's label, Brooklyn Fire, has become a recognized powerhouse for the genre, most recently releasing a third compilation to demonstrate the breadth one can find throughout Melbourne or bounce house.

Following Brooklyn Fire 3, the New York label will drop Allied Bounce on March 11th, a series of tracks from an international crew that epitomizes the emerging sound. Today we have the privilege of premiering Live City's "Champagne Blast" from the album, a track that shows the NYC duo's love for Melbourne, which began with a listen to Deorro and J-Trick's "Booty Bounce". Taking you on a journey through inescapable mids and Big Nab's party-centric vocals, the song typifies one end of the genre's spectrum: that big, bouncing club sound.

This isn't the first time Live City has worked with Tommie Sunshine, as the guys have 5 or so remixes under their belts with the label head and have previoulsy released on Brooklyn Fire. Working with a legend must be a learning experience, and Ethan & Jake confirm, "We've said this before but Tommie is like a dance music industry encyclopedia. He's been around the block a few times and young artists like ourselves stand to gain a lot from heeding the advice of someone with as much experience as him."

If that wasn't enough, the boys of Live City have prepared a full mix of the Allied Bounce compilation, showcasing each of the tracks you'll find on the March 11th. release. Some of the tracks, like Orkestrated's "Deep Sorrow" and Koyote/Deformaty's "Bouncin", you should recognize, but many are brand spaking new and guaranteed to get you groovin' to a host of new artists. Make sure to check them out and keep tabs on Brooklyn Fire for the highest quality in bounce music.
