"City Of Dreams" has become legendary, a classic track that will play years from now, striking strong feelings of nostalgia into any crowd. Hard to imagine that the Alesso/Dirty South collaboration officially dropped only last summer, though its instant status as a fan-favorite ensured it featured in most every festival set of the season. As it turns out, the last accredited collaborator on the song, Ruben Haze, is a fictional persona created to mask Dirty South himself and noted vocalist Rudy Sandpapa.
This week the duo put out the lead track off their forthcoming City Of Dreams EP, a beautifully sung instrumental version of the festival anthem that capitalizes on the song's bittersweet yearning through emotive vocals. Accompanying it will be three other works: "Phoenix", "Johnny Rocket Man", "One Way Ticket" with British dance pop sensation, Example. For now, enjoy the full stream of "City Of Dreams", check out the lyric video set to graphic art, and prepare yourself for the March 11th release.
