Chris Brown truly blew it: Rihanna is a goddess in music and fashion, and there should be absolutely no reason for a scandal of that kind. However, a recent release from a Maryland native has left me singing the not so idolized Brown's lyrics once again.
21-year-old producer Royal has turned Chris Brown's "Fine China" into a melodic and numbing track with heavily involved bubble synths and hollow drops. A good amount of the sound I hear seems to stem from basic hip-hop instrumentation fused with electronic breakbeat, ultimately emerging as an upbeat and rhythmic track. The "Fine China" edit is out via Crackbeetz, and is perfect for a groovy kind of dance party, none of that heavy big room agenda.
Royal displays a wide range of variety in his edits and has impressively stayed neutral among genres, giving him an easier platform to expand on, and I can't wait to see where it takes him. He has offered up this edit for free download, giving you another reason to frequent his Soundcloud.
