Can you imagine what sounds dreamy and dark all while maintaining an eerie tone? Dimond Saints answers these questions with their new work titled, "Voices Inside My Head". This track is part of the Oakland duo's new EP that was just put out for free via Soundcloud. Dimond Saints have been releasing song after song from this work starting nearly two months ago; today EARMILK finally brings the project to light. "Voices Inside My Head" is the first track on the six track EP that showcases Dimond Saints style of mixing lyrics with dreamy beat structures.
It certainly acts as a hook to grab your attention as the track is notably dark yet uses catchy distorted vocals of recognizable lyrics. The main riff behind the track is slow and bouncy as it moves between echoing bursts of synths and fragmented lyrics. At only two and a half minutes, the track gives a short taste of the complex ability this duo has when making futuristic music.
