Lashaun Ellis is "Soul'd Out" in his latest video

When Los Angeles based independent label 6J Recordings dropped three amazingly detailed projects last November, it was safe to say that they'd well and truly left their mark on 2013. The efforts from Johnny Rain, Art Boy Sin and Lashaun Ellis were all intricately put together, and well pushed when they dropped in the same week, all of which gained recognition from fans and critics alike.

One of the most well received projects was Lashaun Ellis's LP, and with one video previously being released for the track "Whatever You Want", we have been blessed with some new visuals for another cut from the album, "Soul'd Out". Whereas the first video was shot in the bright and sun kissed streets of LA, the "Soul'd Out" video takes a much darker turn, as shots of Lashaun on a prison wing are intersected with visuals of him in the pouring rain, giving off the murky vibes that the lyrical content of the track pictures.

You can peep the visuals for "Soul'd Out" below and if you want to check out his entire LP, be sure to check my write up from last year.
