Turtle unveils new single "Opposite of Low" off Who Knows EP

Turtle, the electronic project of Glasgow-based singer/producer Jon Cooper, presents us with yet another single from his debut EP called Who Knows. Set to be officially released on March 3 via Beatnik, the second track "Opposite of Low" off the EP encapsulates Turtle's thematic emphasis on complex arrangements that travel effortlessly through space and time.

The radio edit of "Opposite of Low" is bass heavy, darkened by a downtempo shadow that creeps over to induce restricted experiment. The vocals breathe by repetition, surrounded by minimal electronica and moody spaciousness. The single is grimey, tracing us back to the original roots of dubstep. Simultaneously, it also feels tinged with dance additives that create the complexity Cooper so often strives for and achieves.

OKRAA has also remixed the track, favoring the value of electronic experimentation even further.
