While everyone and their mother will be dropping a Valentine's Day themed project, Vulkan the Krusader's VX-13: Do You Remember Love is one project that you shouldn't gloss over. With 13 tracks ranging from hard hitting boom bap to ambient and atmospheric,  the New York based artist leaves something for everyone to enjoy. Right out of the gate, we're treated to "Welcome to V World" and "Never Coming Back," the latter of which has Vulkan doing his thing over a twangy, guitar based beat while telling a tale of NY life. The album's perfect balance of light, airy tracks and harder, fast paced jams ensure an enriching experience for all. Other highlights include the head nodding "Winter is Coming" with OG CHE$$ and Spaceman and the laid back, smooth horn sampled "Krusader's Theme," which also acts as the closer for this eclectic album.

VX-13: Do You Remember Love is the first piece of the Master Years trilogy, and, while no dates are set in stone for the other two projects, expect some more dopeness from Vulkan real soon. Grab your girl and make sure to give this one a play through.
