Sometimes it's okay to go nuts, and although I frequent hip hop and alternative based artists, I dabble here and there with electronic and small doses of trap. However, Finland based producer Elaksi can hardly be described as a "small" dose of trap, therefore I admit that this style of extreme power is sticking with me.
In his new future bass track "Want You," the 19 year old displays a charismatic play on 808's and chill wave. There's a nice balance between hard trap and prolonged bass, and perhaps why I am so interested in Elaksi. His tracks are overflowing with voluptuous bass while delivering a hard hitting rhythm, guaranteed in each production.
Elaksi has been stirring up blogs with this release, and looks to be a promising act in the coming few months. He was even mentioned in Pigeons & Planes Best EDM of the Week a couple weeks back. In addition, the Helsinki native has offered "Want You" up for download, just show him some love on Facebook, and catch his other originals and remixes on his Soundcloud.
