We have a European collaboration on our hands today, this time with Reset!, the 4-man Italian troupe who have combined forces with the German disco duo, Moonbootica. I remember back in 2007 when "Der Mond" captured my attention, a gateway track leading from the indie songs I so loved down into electronic's seedy underbelly. It's been about 6 years since my obsession with Moonlight Welfare, and Moonbootica proves they can evolve with the times. On the other hand, Reset! really struck me last January, when they dropped the funky, vocal track "Stealin Your Soul", a prime blend of disco vibes and electro house. More recently the quartet put out the Skills To Pay The Bills EP, featuring a raucous pack of tracks that reminded me a lot of fidget house's heyday back in 2008.
"Party Life", released this Friday (2/14) alongside "My Hot Dope" and its remixes, packs these two stellar artists into one banging anthem. Simple vocal sampling and drum loops start off the track, but soon it morphs into a horn-blasting, headbanging groove. It's the kind of song that get's people out on the dancefloor, and causes those already on the floor to start raging.

Speaking of banging, and in honor of the upcoming holiday, two of the guys from Reset! have been gracious enough to share some of their make or break love moments. Read of for an intimate look into the best and worst of their pursuits. Hint: we have one romantic and one realist.
Your best or worst attempt at being romantic:
Rocoe: Once – think I was around ten – I gave a girl a flower for Valentine's day…she refused big time and that, together with another bunch of experiences, made me very cynical about love and relationships.
Mace: We're always romantic, we're Italians!
Perfect date:
Rocoe: Anything that involves some alcohol, sex and a general mood of well being and peacefulness is close to perfection to me.
Mace: Still looking for the perfect date. And it's a tough job to keep looking!
Worst date:
Rocoe: The ones when you are supposed to go back home in company, while you end up smoking a big spliff on your own – and masturbating afterwards.
Mace: You just need to drink a couple more and there's no "worst date"!
Dream date:
Rocoe: Life is what happens to you while you are thinking what a dream date would be!
Mace: Uhm…Betty Davis in her mid 20's?
