These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop your searching and instead settle down at your computer… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let's GO!

It's been a second since I've gotten around to posting a new edition of Mashup Monday, but with 2014 being in full swing, it's time to get back on the mashup tracks. We've got 14 tracks that are worthy of playing through many a times, and it'll all get started with Mashup Germany's "Naughty Pompeii, an edit utilizing Bastille's "Pompeii" and Sam Smith's "Naughty Boy". An ode to Britain, perhaps? Whatever the case, "Naughty Pompeii" is a part of Mashup Germany's 2 CD compilation titled Uppers & Downers, which has a hefty amount of tracks that are definitely worth checking out. Note: some mashes are in German, so you may be left scratching your head as to what exactly is being said. However, "Naughty Pompeii" is a track that I fully understand, and can get behind 100%. While both title tracks are instantly recognizable on their own, there's an added sense of pleasure in having them together. Though I'm not sure why there's the snippet of Krewella's "Alive" at the end, you'll easily find yourself singing the words in your car, in your room, or wherever you may find yourself listening to "Naughty Pompeii".

Following "Naughty Pompeii", we've got newcomer Zigmond Fraud's "Rose Que Que Quartz". Interesting artist name, great mashing combination. I'm always a fan of the unexpected, and pairing Toro Y Moi with Diplo & Dillon Francis certainly classifies as such. "Que Que" provides the tropical punch that entices the body to move, but at the same time, we're greeted with the undertones of Toro Y Moi's entrancing "Rose Quartz". I can't figure out the exact direction Zigmond is trying to take us in, but with each passing second, I could care less. All I know is that I'm fully captivated, and that's always a nice problem to have. Does Toro and Diplo work for you? Let me know in the comments below.

If you're looking to slow it down a bit, then Colatron's "Starry Eyed Love Song" is certainly worth a listen. Hearing Ellie Goulding and Ben Howard is a pleasant aural experience, and one that I wouldn't mind hearing as an official track. Goulding's "Starry Eyed" effortlessly glides along with the acoustic guitar, drawing you in with each note. It's a welcome change from the quicker pace that one hears in the original "Starry Eyed". Colatron has always been high on my list of respected mashers, and "Starry Eyed Love Song" further cements his place among the top of that list.

Check out the rest of the mashups below, and look for Mashup Monday to be coming back with more frequency. As always, hit up the comments with your favorite mashups of the week, and with any mashup that I may have missed and you think I should check out.
