Christian Smith gives a Tronic treatment to Alexander Kowalski’s “Speaker Attack”

It takes more than just doing a few things right to land the first feature spot on Beatport's home page. And that's exactly what deep dance legend Christian Smith has done this week. The Swedish producer has lived all over: Spain, Germany, the US and now Brazil, and throughout his career influenced by techno and house has produced a number of hit tracks and consistently remixed some classics. He's done the latter this week, remixing Alexander Kowalski's 2002 hit "Speaker Attack." And while I'm usually not someone who is moved by techno, this track transcends that title to be on a pedestal all its own. Including elements of melody and techno alike, this take on "Speaker Attack" is an ode to the original track as well as a full exercise of Smith's immense talent.
