Le Youth has been stepping up his game over the past year to perfect his sound. Also known as Wes James, the LA producer broke onto the scene a couple of years ago with his signature style of smooth 90s R&B vocals set over delicious tropical grooves. Lately, he’s been opting for more progressive remixes like the ones he did for Disclosure and Sam Smith. Continuing with the huge energy, Le Youth puts his touch on the funky new Chromeo track which features vocals from Toro Y Moi.

“Come Alive” is the third single announced from Chromeo’s forthcoming album. Check out the original version here. At this point, White Women is shaping up to be one of the funkiest releases of 2014. No word on an exact date, but in April, Chromeo will be kicking off their tour with support from Tokimonsta and from LA duo Oliver.
