Since her last feature on EARMILK towards the end of last year, London native Ego Ella May has been hard at work, putting together her next project Breathing Underwater.

When she last graced these pages, it was her breathtaking visuals for "Love Hard", which perfectly complemented the lyrics of love and togetherness, a theme which she has carried through onto her latest single, "Underwater". Backed by a beautifully relaxing beat from Soulection beatsmith IAMNOBODI, the young British songstress proceeds to charm her audience throughout, with her soulfully-touched voice swooning across the backdrop to create a chillingly emotional tale of love. Lyrically, Ella May exceeds yet again, creating catchy verses and choruses that'll have you singing along in no time.

"Underwater" is the first single to be taken from Ego Ella May's upcoming project, Breathing Underwater, which is set to be released on February 5th. You can stream and download the track below, and if you're feeling this song, you can download her previous effort The Tree, over at her Bandcamp.
