There’s nothing better to do on a Monday morning than wake up to soothing vibes and tasty syncopated rhythms, techno veteran Jakub Rene Kosik is a great choice in doing so. He’s been around since 1997, and in that time has put out 5 albums and over 100 other releases. The artist’s sound has varied over the past 16 years, but has developed a unique style that he can be recognized by. This time on Traquency records, Kosik released a smashing techno single. Upon first listen, one can definitely tell that he’s been in the game for a long time. His ability to create vast organic soundscapes is impressive to say the least, and he does so while still maintaining a classic electronic techno vibe. I recommend "Background" for techno and house lovers alike. Unfortunately there are no upcoming events for the electronic music star, but stay tuned for one to pop up!
