When someone can't put your music in a box, you know you're onto a winning recipe, and that's exactly what Memphis emcee Cities Aviv has presented us with. The Tennessee rapper has consistently blurred the lines within his music, not allowing anyone to put him in a certain group, which has made his music so much more progressive than some of his peers.
Ahead of the release of his album Come To Life on January 28th, Aviv has blessed us with a visually stunning video for one of the songs taken from that project, "Don't Ever Look Back". The Rimar Villasēnor directed visuals accompany the trippy beat perfectly, as strobe lights cut through and shine across Cities, between shots of him in the subway and lurking around woodland. The track itself has a completely new vibe to it, somewhere between the pumping kicks off house music and the head boppin' feel of a hip hop beat, Cities manages to keep a solid flow and not fading to far away from the track.
