Cherokee are a French House duo that kick-started in 2011, and are well known for their clear and distinct sound that is easily recognizable and makes the pair stand apart from other French House producers. Their attention to detail is as evident in "1 Thing", everything flows smoothly while still adding some interesting effects that enhance the character of the track. This powerhouse banger starts off with a great kick that tells you that they mean business right from the start. Then we get to the catchy vocals, and if there’s one thing that’s got me trippin’ it’s how Amerie's vocals add a crazy dimension to the beat! Seriously, try to sit still.
We’ve got some wavy, somewhat R&B elements that are subtl but add to the perfect flow of this track. This track is pure funky-fun and definitely one that deserves a special spot in your music collection.
