Looking back 10 years, a lot of long lasting milestones happened in the world of record labels in 2003. 2013 is the year to be celebrating a decade of existence. After releasing a massive compilation in November highlighting the best of the best of its massive and impactful production library, Armada Music continues to celebrate making it 10 years with a new release. 10 Year Armada (The Anniversary Remixes – Part 1 features three of Armada's most well known tracks, including the first trance song to break the UK top 20 singles chart, Binary Finary's "1998," the more recent "Hold That Sucker Down" by label frequenter Jerome Isma-ae and Three Drive's anthem of the 2000 Olympic Games in Athens, "Greece 2000." But these aren't just any feature – they're updates done by some of today's favorite dance producers. Sick Individuals, twoloud and Richard Beynon all make their mark on their respective tracks, maintaining the integrity of their historic originality but making them relevant to some of the new house music generation. My favorite part about this EP release is that it's "Part 1," meaning that we can really look forward to more of this good stuff in the next month.
