Norwegian production duo CLMD have been on a path of exploration recently. Known separately as Carl Louis and Martin Danielle, they’ve been pushing themselves to move a little bit out of the box of the melodic and lighthearted club music they’ve become known for, to venture into tried and true progressive house territory. And what’s the outcome and best part of this movement? The fact that they’re getting good at it, as demonstrated perfectly by their release on Trice Recordings, entitled “Fader.” A perfect way to ease into your week, “Fader” is a well-layered, chilled out winding source of synths that’s impressively pretty entrancing.
