Yerosha Sound – "New Moon" (Acropolis Sound Remix)

It's not often that I let a dope new track slide under my radar, usually I'm quite on top of hot new tracks. So I was a little surprised that I'd let a bass drenched remix by Manchester based duo Acropolis Sound pass me by. We've featured the dynamic pair on EARMILK before, with their EP U Down proving to be highly popular amongst our readers.

This time around, they've added their magic touch to a soulful track by London based songstress Yerosha Sound. They've taken the original chilling vocals and added a healthy dose of bass to the mix, completely switching it up from Yerosha's version. Acropolis have thrown in some nice percussion to this remix, with an intro that gradually builds into an all out bass assault. I can personally hear some elements of other bass music heavyweights such as Rustie and Joker in this track, and Acropolis Sound have shown themselves to be able to produce music in more than just one sub genre. This duo just will not be boxed, and I think that stands testament on it's own.

You can download your free copy of U Down, if you haven't already, simply by liking their Facebook page. I also felt that the original track by Yerosha Sound deserved to be on here for you to stream as it's definitely a nice soulful piece for you to have a listen to.
