Although the LA-based duo Classixx proved their production skills reach further than bubbling remixes with their debut LP Hanging Gardens early this year, it's still a treat to receive one of their infectious reworks. "Always" comes courtesy of the Australian-hailing band Panama via the fellow Aussie label Future Classic—an imprint Classixx have previously released on. Turning the track from an indie song-along to a dance-worthy head bobber, Classixx return to their original roots with this bouncy remix. Incorporating sunny synths and house-oriented guitar bass plugs, the production pair made up of Tyler Blake and Michael David give listeners summertime grooves just before the cool Fall air encroaches.
Classixx is currently on tour with Toro Y Moi, and their debut album, Hanging Gardens, is out now.
