Djedjotronic – "Abyssal Zone" [Video]

Zone Records, the label beautifully crafted together by The Hacker and Gesaffelstein, has played host to some of the most melodic, terrifying, and absolutely eloquent electronic releases within the past few years. On September 30th, Djedjotronic released his Abyssal Zone EP through this output, and has received wide acclaim, from both critics and fans alike.

This week saw the release of the first visuals for the track of the same name. Before we continue, I think it's important to note what exactly the abyssal zone is. To put it in simple terms, the abyssal zone is the dark bottomless part of the ocean, devoid of sunlight and dominated by carnivorous creatures. With this in mind, the track brings in a feeling of survival, fitting for an environment where carnivores are all around.

The visuals for this feel much of the same way. Featuring some light blood, murder, and some lust into the picture, Zone Records has yet again managed to bring a mesh of their style and sound into a great visual accessory for the song.

He has show dates in France and the UK before he heads to Australia. Abyssal Zone is out now.
