"Undiscovered" has been in rotation ever since it dropped, which is no surprise given how often I listened to British songstress Laura Welsh's breakthrough "Cold Front". The same will probably be said about the single's latest remix. Netherlands producer/BMKLTSCH RCRDS owner Mike Mago transforms the soulful "Undiscovered" into an energetic house record. You might remember the Dutch tastemaker from his upbeat dance single "The Show," which was released in August. We also premiered the pretty awesome acoustic video of the tune, which incorporates multiple talented musicians.
Mike Mago's "Undiscovered" rework is not without the soulful aspect of Welsh's yearning vocals, and he manages to maintain the feel of the original while still creating a thumping, beautiful soundscape. By unapologetically injecting the record with warm melodies and lively hi-hats, he ultimately crafts yet another tune bound to be stuck in your head. Don't waste any more time, listen to it below.
