It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the French electronica duo Air; however, one half of the pair, Jean-Benoit Dunckel has joined forces with Bardi Johansson from the Bang Gang DJs to form Starwalker. Their first release is an ambient, chill-out track titled, “Bad Weather.” Jeaneen Lund and Saevar Gudmundsson, who took Starwalker’s moody song and morphed it into a strikingly beautiful music video, directed the visuals for “Bad Weather”.
Sandy landscapes and foliage make an intriguing set for the music video. Black cloaked druids, enigmatic fog, and charcoal balloons provide bizarre symbolism, while Dunckel and Johansson don black suits and wander around their mysterious environment singing wistfully in sync. Enjoy this refreshingly dark music video while you await Starwalker’s first EP, which is on the horizon.
